D5 K13 Seminars - OMT APPROACH IN CLINICAL CHIROPRACTIC
Presentation and format:
Seminar D5 K13 certified teaching program with one hundred hours
It is a traditional training in the manipulative area, which aims to bring technical mastery, problem-solving skills and confidence to clinical care. This course consists of two face-to-face seminars of four days each, for a total of 8 days of theoretical and practical seminar. Between one seminar and another, there is support and teaching material and video lessons of the techniques.
Format: Two in-person modules and one distance learning module. Each in-person module will have classes on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
*Note: Optional supervised clinical practice will be offered.
Content such as: Comprehensive clinical evaluation in MSK. A true clinical manipulative approach, involving the pelvis, lumbar thoracic, cervical spine, cranial sacrum and extremities. (upper and lower limbs). Soft tissue management, fascial muscle release and neurodynamics. Basic postural approach.
This seminar is ideal for physiotherapists who wish to access training in the manipulative area. Printed workbook with more than 190 pages and access to a closed group with videos of the techniques and also additional study materials. It is related to a continuing education program, which associated with the training of Clinical Skills + Clinical Internship, issues the title of Diploma in Orthopedic Manipulative Physiotherapy from ANAFIQ and SBRTO, through ICV. After attending this curricular component through the continuing education program, you can take ANAFIQ's Diploma in Chiropractic training.
Students will be prepared to establish clinical correlation with the fundamental techniques of manual or manipulative therapy, dealing with the main clinical dysfunctions.

As this seminar is connected to the ICV continuing education program, if you take the clinical competency seminar in the continuing education program and perform the supervised clinical practice, you will have the certification of the Diploma in Manipulative Physical Therapy from ANAFIQ and also TMO from Brazil Manipulative (seal and registration with ANAFIQ and SBRTO. The hours in this course can be used in the Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy and Chiropractic programs of ANAFIQ and SBRTO, but for this you must complete the entire specialization program including the One Chiropractic Seminar and the specific technical disciplines of Chiropractic in addition to the internship.
This program has been designed based on training in Manipulative Physiotherapy Training, according to the parameters of the IFOMT consensus, known as D5K13 (Dimension5 Kompentency13), where the manipulative physiotherapist incorporates the knowledge of Manipulative Physiotherapy into orthopedic manipulative treatment. The qualification of this extension course is that of manipulator physiotherapist.

Objectives:
To promote the training of Manipulative Physiotherapists by introducing them to the knowledge of different techniques of Manipulative Physiotherapy so that they can continue their studies in this area and obtain a Training Certificate in Manipulative Physiotherapy. It also aims to teach the basic techniques of Manipulative Physiotherapy to Physiotherapists so that they can improve their therapeutic arsenal.
